Privacy Policy for Dinosaur Lab. Pte. Ltd.

This Privacy Policy governs Dinosaur Games Kids and every other preschool-focused mobile application (the “Apps”) that Dinosaur Lab. Pte. Ltd. (“Dinosaur Lab,” “we,” “us,” “our”) publishes worldwide for iOS and Android. It explains how we handle—or, by default, do not handle—personal data when you or your child installs or uses our Apps, or when you contact our customer support. Where local laws impose stricter rules (e.g., the EU GDPR or U.S. COPPA), we comply with those requirements.
No automatic personal-data collection. The Apps contain no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.
On-device data only. Game progress and settings stay on the user’s device and are erased when the App is uninstalled.
Parent-supplied information. We receive personal data only if a parent or guardian emails us. In that case we collect the email address and inquiry content solely to provide support.
Microphone – Used only when the user taps a “Record” or “Voice” button. The OS permission prompt appears the first time; no access is possible until permission is granted. Audio files remain on-device unless you choose to share them.
Photos / Storage – Lets you save or import a child’s creations (screenshots, photos, audio). Permission is requested the first time you save to or read from the photo library or local storage. Files stay on-device unless shared by the parent.
We do not request location, contacts, or camera access (unless we add a new feature and update this Policy). Permissions can be revoked at any time in system settings; doing so simply disables the related feature without affecting the rest of the App.
If you email us at cs@dinosaurlab.com, we use the address and message content only to
respond to bug reports, feature questions, or refund requests, and
track and resolve your support ticket.
Emails are stored by encrypted third-party mail hosts (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) acting on our instructions.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for marketing. We disclose data only when legally required (e.g., by court order) or in connection with a merger or acquisition, and then only under appropriate safeguards.
Our Apps target children under 13 but do not automatically collect personal data. If you have provided information by email, you may at any time email cs@dinosaurlab.com to
access a copy of the data we hold,
correct inaccurate information, or
request deletion of all related records.
Verified requests are completed within 30 days unless a longer period is allowed by law.
Local files are protected by the operating-system sandbox and, where available, device-level encryption. Email traffic is secured by TLS, and internal access is limited to authorised staff under a least-privilege model. We review and update our safeguards regularly.
On-device data – Fully managed by the user and removed when the App is uninstalled.
Support emails – Retained for up to three (3) years after a ticket is closed, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer retention period is legally required.
We do not intentionally transfer personal data across borders. Support emails may transit or reside on servers outside your region; such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful safeguards to ensure protection equivalent to that in the EEA.
If we introduce new data collection or request additional permissions, we will revise this Policy and announce the change in-App and on our website at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Apps after the effective date signifies acceptance of the revised Policy.
